Job specification

• Monitor and assess patients' cardiac and neurological statuses using telemetry equipment.
• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and assisting with diagnostic procedures.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Recognize and respond to abnormal heart rhythms, neurological changes, and other critical situations, providing immediate intervention when necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about conditions, treatments, and ongoing care.
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.

Candidate requirements

• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• 2 years of nursing experience in telemetry, cardiac, or neuro settings.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting telemetry strips.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications.
