Deputy General Counsel

Overview

SUMMARY: Provides professional legal counsel and administers legal services for the District under the supervision and direction of the District General Counsel.

• A Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school is required.
• A license to practice law in the State of Colorado is required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience. Preferred legal experience in education, public entity or employment law.

• Criminal background check required for hire.
• Ability to travel among school locations.

The salary listed is for full time positions (1.0 FTE). This salary will be adjusted, as needed, based upon the FTE. Administrative employees  salary will be commensurate on the employees’ education and/or work experience.
