Staff Pharmacist

Overview

Position Summary... What you'll do:
Provides pharmaceutical care to Customers including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, counseling Customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs, maintaining confidential information, and maintaining controlled medication and required documentation.

Additional responsibilities include applying up-to-date expertise to develop and execute action plans, providing expert advice to others, supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs, and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.

Supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships with key stakeholders, identifying business needs, carrying out necessary processes and practices, monitoring progress and results, and capitalizing on improvement opportunities while adapting to changing demands and responsibilities.

Models and enforces customer service approaches to ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved within company guidelines and standards. Demonstrates compliance with company policies and supports ethics and integrity in business planning and execution.

Ensures compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations by analyzing reports, implementing loss prevention and safety controls, overseeing safety and quality reviews, developing action plans, and guiding the execution of company programs and initiatives. Maintains confidential information and assigned records as required by policy and law.

Provides comprehensive patient care by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and supporting other programs developed by Walmart in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm

D, or equivalent FPGE (NABP);
Pharmacy license by job entry date;
Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program.
