Environment, Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking an experienced EHS Supervisor – Laboratory Safety to lead and manage laboratory safety programs and ensure full compliance with federal, state, and institutional environmental health and safety regulations. This role is responsible for driving a strong safety culture, reducing risk, and improving EHS performance across laboratory operations.

The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations
, strong leadership capability, and hands-on experience supporting laboratory environments.

• Oversee and manage the organization’s Laboratory Safety Program
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable federal, state, and institutional regulations
• Lead safety risk assessments, audits, and corrective action plans
• Develop and implement initiatives to reduce or eliminate safety and environmental risks
• Drive continuous improvement in EHS performance and incident reduction
• Design, implement, and achieve annual EHS goals, targets, and metrics
• Prepare safety reports, track KPIs, and analyze performance trends
• Deliver safety training, coaching, and engagement programs to build a strong safety culture
• Support chemical inventory management and laboratory compliance activities

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification (required)
• 4+ years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety regulations (OSHA, EPA)
• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of laboratory safety standards and compliance requirements

• Experience working in a laboratory setting
• Experience managing chemical inventories
