Enrollment Services Specialist II
The Enrollment Services Specialist II is an advanced technical position within the Enrollment Services / Registrar department. This role provides in-depth research and evaluation of student records, applying college policies, state statutes/rules, and national guidelines to accomplish tasks. The specialist will specialize in either records certification or transcript evaluation.
Responsibilities Essential Functions Transcript Evaluation- Provides in-depth knowledge of admissions and records educational policies, procedures, and programs as they relate to Federal wording and the Florida State College statutes and rules.
- Receives, opens, and sorts maji transactions for evaluation and certification.
- Researches, evaluates, articulates, and processes all college transfer credit, accelerated/articulated credit, military, and international credit in accordance with college policies, state rules,'))
- Researches course equivalencies for advisors, students, and departments, or researches for determination and interpretation of evaluation, including all secondary courses and equivalencies.
- Creates and maintains institutional catalogs for all incoming transfer work and establishes course and transfer grading equivalencies.
- Provides data entry/processing services and maintains accurate records for students and potential students on a continuous basis; enters accurate, detailed information of transfer credit to students’ transcripts for advisors and certification specialists to certify and graduate.
- Answers, researches, records and resolves all questions related to students transfer evaluation for advisors, faculty and staff.
- Assists with training of all new employees related to evaluation of transfer credit procedures.
- Performs other duties as may be required or assigned.
- Evaluates and verifies completion of graduation requirements from all college and academic foundation programs.
- Processes degree applications for prospective graduates and notifies candidates of deficiencies and/or completion requirements. Corresponds with students regarding completion problems.
- Processes all auto‑identified candidates for AS and Certificates.
- Certifies and posts program and degree requirements for assigned BAC, AA, AS, AAS, EPI, GED, High School, OCP, Vocational]}
