Project Accountant-Manager
Sanford, Florida
Responsibilities- Ensure construction projects stay on budget and meet financial goals.
- Manage company’s construction project accounts, including monthly draws, payables, cash flow estimates, and receivables.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners (AR), vendors, and suppliers.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining construction project accounting files.
- Understanding of project accounting principles.
- Monitor project compliance and financial regulations for subcontractors and general contractors.
- Knowledge of Florida’s Lien Rights & NTOs.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective teamwork with the Accounting department.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure objectives are met.
- Knowledge of contract billing requirements.
- High accuracy in recording transactions.
- Experience with AIA Billing for subcontractors & general contractors.
- Collections, lien waivers, lien preparation, subcontractor change orders & back charges.
- Accounts Payables (subcontractors and suppliers).
