Water Jet​/Brake Press Operator

Looking for a self-motivated CNC waterjet, CNC plasma, and CNC brake press operator. Duties will include loading material into the machines, maintaining the machines, deburring cut pieces, and bending sheet metal and plate. We do a very wide range of materials, from plastics, steel, stainless steel, Aluminum.

We have a Accurpress brake press, Omax Waterjet table, and Arc Industries plasma table. We can train on site for the most part.

Experience running CNC machines or a brake press is preferred. Knowledge of sheet metals preferred, and Cad/Cam experience in 2D/3D is definitely a bonus.

Set up and operate CNC waterjet, plasma, and laser cutting machines.

Program machines using programming software to ensure accurate production of parts.

Some G-coding is helpful but not required.

Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job specifications.

Conduct inspections of finished products to verify they meet quality standards and specifications.

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure optimal operation.

Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality targets.

Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Some knowledge of Nesting and Pathing is preferred.

At least 3 years of experience operating CNC waterjet, and plasma, cutting machines in a manufacturing environment.

Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.

Strong problem solving skills and mechanical aptitude.

Must have a valid driver's license, and dependable transportation to and from work. Background and Drug test required. Work hours are 6:30am to 4pm Monday through Thursday, and 6:30 am to Noon on Fridays. Be willing to work overtime hours as needed. Applicants must speak English.

Pay is $25 per hour

Full-time 6:30am-4pm, overtime available, 45 min lunch, 90 days benefits,. Medical and Dental Insurance, Discounted gym membership, IRA, Vacation and Holidays
