Job Summary
The Production Molding Operator – DMT I reports directly to an assigned Operations Leader and is responsible for material handling, conducting light product inspection and housekeeping activities for an assigned set of injection molding presses to supply downstream equipment with quality molded components, seeking assistance from technicians for any issues.
Shift: 12 hour rotating A shift (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM). Scheduled to work 7 days in a 14‑day period (2 on, 3 off, 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off). Every other weekend is scheduled off.
Responsibilities- Packaging, labeling, and handling of product and movement to specified locations.
- Perform limited product visual and manual inspections.
- Learn and maintain a detailed knowledge of all products produced in the department and quality specifications.
- Keep machinery, work area and floors neat and orderly and comply with GMP requirements.
- Work optimally in a team with limited supervision.
- Understand and interpret controlled documents including work instructions, procedures, and inspection forms.
- Notify CILL and DMT I of any equipment issues.
- Work with molding team members to keep equipment running during breaks and callouts.
- Comply with all local BD quality policies, procedures, and practices through consistent application of sound quality assurance principles.
- Other duties as assigned.

- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- 0–1 year working in a manufacturing environment, preferably injection molding press experience.
- Clean room or laboratory manufacturing environment.
- May be required to stand, sit for extended periods, bend, stoop, reach; lift up to 20 lbs.; occasional pulling/pushing up to 30 lbs.
- Potential exposure to fumes, airborne particles, hazardous chemicals, cooling and solvents.
- Must wear required PPE: safety glasses, face mask or face shield, hearing protection, safety shoes, hair/beard net, smock.
- Must have normal field of vision corrected to 20/40 and hearing sufficient to safely operate equipment.
