Janitorial Cleaning Night Shift Slc Area

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour (negotiable based on experience)

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team in the Salt Lake City area. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday from 3:30 PM to Midnight. The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial services and a strong focus on maintaining clean, safe, and organized facilities.

• Initial Facility Walkthroughs:
  Inspect assigned areas for immediate cleaning needs, including restrooms, office spaces, and high-traffic areas.
• Restroom Maintenance:
  Deep clean restrooms by disinfecting toilets, urinals, sinks, countertops, and partitions. Clean mirrors, polish stainless steel fixtures, and maintain floors with appropriate cleaning solutions. Wipe down bathroom stalls, clean urinal partitions and walls, and remove trash, replacing liners as needed.
• Trash, Recycling, and Cardboard Removal:
  Collect and remove trash from the West side of the facility, ensuring liners are replaced regularly (daily for food waste). Transport waste and recycling to designated disposal areas. Pick up garbage in the yard and parking lot to maintain a clean outdoor environment.
• General Cleaning Duties:
  Sweep, mop, and vacuum building floors. Sanitize and restock restroom supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels). Maintain janitorial closets and equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition.
• Additional Tasks:
  Perform duties as assigned by management to ensure overall cleanliness and safety.
• Knowledge of standard methods, practices, tools and equipment of the janitorial cleaning industry.
• Ability to operate and use janitorial tools, equipment, and cleaning compounds and solutions.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to perform physical activities such as lifting, walking, stopping, handling and moving objects up to 20-50 pounds.

• Knowledge of standard methods, tools, equipment, and practices within the janitorial industry.
• Ability to operate janitorial tools, equipment, and cleaning compounds safely and effectively.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform activities such as lifting, walking, stooping, and handling objects up to 30 pounds.
• At least 1 year of janitorial experience is preferred.
• Reliable transportation.
