Customer Service Representative, Remote Contact Center

This full-time remote Customer Service Representative position focuses on helping customers by phone, email, and chat while processing insurance-related documents and updating records in multiple systems.

About the Role:

You will handle a steady flow of inbound and outbound calls, respond to email inquiries, and enter customer information with accuracy. The first 90 days follow a structured training program with clear KPIs and defined expectations. This role fits candidates who are comfortable on a headset, can multitask across several systems, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Process incoming insurance documents and enter customer information accurately

Handle inbound and outbound calls to resolve customer questions

Respond to email-based customer service requests

Research and resolve simple to moderately complex issues, escalating when needed

Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer concerns

Document all interactions and update customer records

Prioritize tasks to meet business objectives

Participate in team initiatives and share feedback for process improvement

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

At least 1 year of consumer-facing customer service experience

Ideally within the last 3 years and preferably in your current role

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Typing speed of 40 WPM or 8,000 KPH with 95 percent or higher accuracy

Experience with email and/or chat support preferred

Ability to multitask while navigating multiple systems

Professional, clear phone presence

Comfort working in a high-volume, KPI-driven environment and structured training program

Preferred Experience:

Insurance industry exposure

High-volume contact center work

Strong data entry background

Success Factors and Additional Notes:

Genuine commitment to excellent customer service

Ability to stay organized while handling multiple tasks

Clear, professional communication across phone, email, and chat

Comfort with structured processes, documentation requirements, and performance metrics

Temp-to-hire opportunity

Background check required

Average call volume is 30 to 40 calls per day, typically 5 to 15 minutes each
