Veterinary Technician Supervisor - ER

Overview

Blue Pearl Pet Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Technician Supervisor with passion and the ability to motivate, engage, and train a team of veterinary professionals. This position would assist in overseeing our ICU/ER/ECC teams.

• As a Veterinary Technician Supervisor, you will serve as a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge.
• Coach team members to be continuously aware and proactive at anticipating and addressing patient and client needs and to seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations.
• Work with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings.
• Organize training schedules for Technician staff.
• Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution.
• Provide feedback leadership and work to develop performance improvement plans.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Pay: $27 - $43 / hour. This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our leveling system.
