Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Overview
We’re seeking a skilled and proactive Human Resources Generalist to support one of our purpose‑driven clients in Sandy Springs. This role is ideal for an HR professional with broad, hands‑on experience across at least five core HR disciplines:
Compliance, Employee Relations, Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, and Performance Management. The right candidate will operate as both a tactical problem‑solver and a strategic partner, bringing strong analytical thinking, excellent communication, and a high degree of professionalism to a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
- Manage multi‑state payroll and benefits administration with accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Serve as a trusted resource for employee relations, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation
- Ensure adherence to federal and state employment laws, internal policies, and HR best practices
- Develop and implement HR programs that support organizational goals and employee experience
- Create, update, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee communications
- Conduct investigations and resolve employee concerns with discretion and sound judgment
- Analyze HR data and trends to inform strategic decisions and leadership reporting
- Stay current on HR legislation, industry shifts, and compliance requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, including generalist or senior‑level responsibilities
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now, Workday, or other HRIS platforms
- Strong understanding of employment law, payroll processes, and benefits administration
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
- Strategic HR planning and execution
- Employee relations and conflict resolution expertise
- HR data analysis and reporting
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR technologies
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
