Always Best Care Senior Services – Atlanta is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in‑home support for a client with advanced dementia in the Sandy Springs area. The client may exhibit challenging behaviors, including agitation and resistance to care. This position requires a calm, confident professional who is skilled in dementia care, redirection, and maintaining a safe environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide hands‑on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Use de‑escalation, reassurance, and redirection techniques during periods of agitation
- Support personal hygiene, toileting, dressing, and mobility
- Provide medication reminders as directed
- Maintain client safety and dignity at all times
- Follow structured routines to reduce confusion and agitation
- Observe, document, and report behavioral or condition changes to the office
- Active Georgia CNA certification
- Proven experience working with clients with dementia
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors safely and professionally
- Clear TB test results
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Ability to pass a background check
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication skills, patience, and emotional resilience
