Salary: $135,000 - $165,000 per year

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Permanent Senior Accounting Manager - Lease Accounting. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast‑paced, growing team that provides an exceptional level of service to our clients. As a Senior Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of lease accounting, including the implementation, maintenance, and review of the lease accounting system.

You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial reporting related to leases under ASC 842. This role requires a strong background in lease accounting, excellent leadership skills, and a focus on continuous improvement.

• Oversee the application of lease accounting standards under ASC 842, including the interpretation and implementation of new and proposed standards.
• Manage and review the work of the lease accounting team, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Develop and implement lease accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with ASC 842 and other relevant accounting standards.
• Coordinate with external auditors on lease accounting matters, including the preparation and review of audit schedules and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including finance, legal, real estate, and operations, to ensure the accurate and timely accounting of leases.
• Provide technical guidance and training to the lease accounting team and other stakeholders on lease accounting matters.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of lease accounting systems, processes, and controls, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in lease accounting, with a strong understanding of ASC 842.
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop a high‑performing team.
• Strong technical accounting skills, with the ability to interpret and apply lease accounting standards and other relevant accounting principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex lease accounting matters to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency in lease accounting systems and other financial systems and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
