We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. Position Overview:
As an Occupational Therapist in our clinic, you will work with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that help them recover from injury, surgery, or chronic pain. Your responsibilities will include conducting evaluations, providing hands-on treatment, and educating patients on self-management techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to patients with a variety of musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to, upper extremity injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and hand therapy.
- Provide hands-on therapy and rehabilitation interventions
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients on proper exercise techniques, body mechanics, and injury prevention
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctor's degree of an accredited occupational therapy curriculum
- MA Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred, or an interest to pursuing certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
