We re working with a growing, high-precision engineering manufacturer in East Kent who continue to invest heavily in their facilities and people.

Due to expansion within their operations function, they are looking to appoint a Test & Inspection Technician on a permanent basis.

This role would suit someone from an engineering, electronics or quality-focused production environment who enjoys fault finding, testing and ensuring products meet exacting standards before release.

The Role

You ll be responsible for ensuring finished products meet specification and quality expectations.

Duties will include:

  • Inspecting and testing new and returned products
  • Using electronic test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
  • Identifying and reporting non-conformances
  • Completing documentation and test reports accurately
  • Working closely with engineering to resolve issues
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives

This is a hands-on, detail-driven position where accuracy and accountability are key.

What We re Looking For

  • Experience with in an engineering or quality-driven production environment
  • Ability to read manufacturing drawings
  • Confidence using electronic test equipment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good written documentation skills
  • A proactive and professional approach

Training will be provided, but a solid engineering foundation is essential.
