Senior Practice Accountant

TPF Recruitment, Kent’s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is recruiting for a Senior Practice Accountant to join a fantastic, chartered accountancy practice in Sandwich, Kent. As a Senior Practice Accountant in Sandwich your responsibilities will include the following:

Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and ltd companies.

Prepare client tax returns and advise on tax payable and payment dates

Bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, supplier maintenance and management accounts, as and when required

Proactively liaise with clients to obtain relevant information, ensuring attention to detail

Monitor own job quality and quantity in line with agreed budgets, meeting these targets and exceeding where possible

Support trainees by providing on the job coaching

Assisting clients with accounts software and other queries as required

Requirements Senior Practice Accountant Sandwich

To be considered for this role, applicants will have the following skills, experience, and attributes:

Be ACA or ACCA qualified or qualified by experience

Be IT literate, preferably with knowledge of Iris, and/or Sage, Xero or Quick Books

Have excellent communication, listening and problem-solving skills

Highly organised and self-motivated

Both part time, and full time applicants will be considered

£38,000 - £50,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable

Both part time, and full time applicants will be considered

25 days annual leave + 8 days for bank holiday
