• Provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone and via text that is friendly, helpful, fast, and accurate.
• Maintain and grow existing customer base.
• Build relationships with customers: answer customer questions and ask follow‑up questions to determine their needs.
• Provide post‑sale customer support, including follow‑ups, troubleshooting, invoice concerns, etc.
• Work closely with sales team, sales managers, pricing and purchasing team to determine proper pricing.
• Act as an extension of the outside sales force to proactively grow product sales.
• Maintain profitable standards.
• Inform and explain ongoing and upcoming special promotions, programs, and spiffs.
• Process customer payments, returns, and credits.
• Suggest, promote, sell, and upsell products to increase sales volume.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product lines, purchasing notes, flyers, trade magazines.
• Perform job safely, follow all safety guidelines.
• Seek ways to improve the overall customer experience.
• Follow all relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Strong communication skills: in person, on the phone and via text, internally and externally.

• Previous customer service required (2–3 years).
• Previous inside or outside sales preferred.
• Previous HVAC, plumbing, electrical products knowledge (2–3 years).
• Ability to use Outlook, Teams, MS Office, Text, Internet.
• Familiar with Pro Keep, IBMi a plus.
