The freezer, cooler, and deli stocker role supports operations and customer service in Sam’s Club facilities. Team members stock, maintain sanitary conditions, and assist Members in the freezer, cooler, and deli areas to ensure products are available and properly presented.

• Maintains safety of the facility by following safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including safety sweeps, proper forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations to Management.
• Maintains the sales floor and merchandise presentation in the Freezer/Cooler/Deli area by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, stocking merchandise, setting up and cleaning displays, removing damaged goods, pricing merchandise, and completing required audits and documentation.
• Provides member service by acknowledging Members, identifying needs, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, providing deli products, resolving issues, and promoting Company products and services.
• Follows Company policies related to the Freezer/Cooler area, including food handling, equipment operation and sanitation, cold chain procedures, cleaning, and reporting issues to Management.
• Maintains temperatures, verifies expiration dates, and disposes of lesser-quality food products as part of stock responsibilities.
• Packs ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stocks displays; maintains a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area.

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Experience with stocking and customer service is preferred
• Ability to adapt to changes and work scenarios

• The hourly wage range is stated above. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Premiums may apply in specific circumstances.
