About the Role

At Custom Glass Solutions, our Human Resources team provides professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and honest service while building strong employee relationships. We oversee all aspects of Employee Relations and daily reinforce our core values:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our HR Team as an HR Business Partner. The role requires recruiting for hourly production needs quickly and proactively, building strong working relationships across all levels, and thriving in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will interface with all departments at our Fostoria location.

A Successful Candidate Will
  • Effectively coach employees and leadership and demonstrate success in career development, employee relations, and retention.
  • Administer and explain benefit programs and total rewards to employees.
  • Recruit full‑cycle for hourly production team positions.
  • Review employee concerns, identify problems, and provide win‑win solutions.
  • Be comfortable in an evolving, fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Prioritize to deliver results as a partner to leadership and a hands‑on HR team member.
  • Be an enthusiastic team player who creates a positive work environment.
  • Work independently, exercising excellent judgment aligned with the CGS culture, and be an active member of local plant leadership and HR teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business (preferred).
  • 3+ years of HR Business Partner experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • HRIS experience (Dayforce is a plus).
  • Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—including high‑quality document preparation and presentation.
  • Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing full‑cycle recruitment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative leadership style.
