Housekeeping – Lead Supervisor

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Housekeeping – Lead Supervisor
. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the efficient and effective daily operation relating to the department, as set forth by the Resort’s standards and will administer the supervision of all floor staff. They are also responsible for ensuring rooms are maintained to set standards of cleanliness and are ready in a timely manner for guest accommodations.

You’ll provide leadership, support teamwork, and foster a positive and efficient work environment for associates.

• Monitor and evaluate staff work performance on an on-going basis; praises and disciplines staff as appropriate.
• Monitor and schedule routine inspections of all guest rooms/suites and public areas to ensure everything is clean and in good repair.
• Maintain a professional working relationship and promote open lines of communication with managers, associates and other departments.
• Ensure implementation of all Kalahari policies and resorts rules. Understand housekeeping terms, chemical and hazardous material handling, and sanitation/cleanliness standards.
• Prepare and review daily housekeeping reports when needed.

• Background consisting of experience with properties (Hotels & Resorts) in excess of 500 rooms
• Previous supervisory responsibilities required
