Overview

Hire Resolve’s client in the water & environmental consultancy industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Senior Hydrogeologist in Rivonia, Johannesburg.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex hydrogeological projects within deadlines and budget
  • Conduct field data interpretation and management
  • Develop and maintain groundwater models
  • Prepare hydrogeological conceptual models and ensure data and model quality
  • Promote company standards and methodologies in hydrogeology
  • Engage in staff training and mentoring
  • Assist with overall group and unit revenue and growth assurance
  • Participate in geophysics, pump testing, drill supervision, dewatering, and mine hydrogeology

    • Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Honours Degree, MSc Degree in Hydrogeology
  • Solid practical experience in mining hydrogeology
  • Proven project management and report writing skills
  • Good communication skills to develop client relationships
  • Good client management and delivery efficiency
  • Can be on site/mining projects
  • Must be a registered professional scientist (Pr. Sci. Nat) or eligible for registration
  • The ability to work independently and be part of a team
