Description and Requirements

This role drives enterprise and public-sector growth in South Africa through Lenovo’s PC and Infrastructure solutions. It owns key customer and partner relationships while closing complex, high-value deals. The focus is on positioning Lenovo as a strategic technology partner.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility for a defined public, and private customer set, making proposals, pricing and finally customer care.
  • Development of existing customer relationships as well as winning new customers through tender business.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to link customer needs and business issues to solutions.
  • Set and manage expectations around solutions, internally and externally
  • Collaborate with customers, sales team and extended Lenovo teams
  • Collaborate with technical staff and product specialists where required to address customer requirements
  • Work at all levels within an organization to deliver a quarterly target
  • Report on sales activity and update in Dynamics 365
  • Conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity
  • Position Requirements

  • 10+ years of enterprise IT sales experience with a strong record in consultative solution selling.
  • Proven ownership of public and private sector accounts in South Africa, driving pipeline, revenue, and long-term relationships.
  • Established partner and customer network that enables rapid market entry and deal creation.
  • Strong expertise in PC & Infrastructure solutions, including servers, storage, data center and enterprise technologies.
  • Advanced user of Dynamics 365 and Microsoft applications for pipeline management and reporting.
  • Confident in competitive selling, able to articulate value, handle objections, and protect margin.
  • Credible with senior stakeholders, able to influence decisions at executive level.
