Role Overview

We’re expanding our sales team in Johannesburg and looking for a Global Account Executive. In this role, you’ll drive strategic growth, identify and secure new business opportunities, and build lasting client relationships. This is your chance to play a key role in shaping our presence in these markets while contributing to significant revenue growth as part of a dynamic and collaborative sales team.

Requirements
  • 2–5 years of on‑quota SaaS B2B sales experience as an Account Executive (or equivalent) in global SaaS markets.
  • Proven success in exceeding sales targets within high‑growth environments.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; additional European languages are a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to source new opportunities through outbound efforts while managing a high volume of leads.
  • Prior experience in cloud security or compliance products is a strong advantage.
  • Organized and methodical in managing the sales cycle and handling multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with sales tech tools, including Hub Spot CRM.
  • Team player with experience working across rapidly expanding, cross‑functional environments.
  • Thrives in fast‑paced, dynamic startup settings.
  • Strong energy, transparency, and skills in fostering long‑term client relationships.
Bonus Points For
  • Experience selling multi‑product offerings.
  • Background in cloud security or compliance products.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies for complex SaaS solutions.
Responsibilities
  • Identify, pursue, and close high‑value sales opportunities in European markets, focusing on Scytale’s Info Sec and compliance SaaS solutions.
  • Develop and nurture strong client relationships, addressing their challenges and aligning Scytale’s offerings with their business needs.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations that highlight the unique benefits and features of Scytale’s platform.
  • Partner with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with market feedback and industry trends in the DACH markets.
  • Oversee a high‑velocity sales pipeline, ensuring seamless transitions from prospecting to closing.
  • Consistently achieve and surpass quarterly and annual sales goals, driving revenue and market expansion.
  • Gather insights on customer needs and the competitive landscape to influence product enhancements and strategic planning.
  • Utilize Hub Spot CRM for accurate tracking, reporting, and pipeline management.
