Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced Risk Manager. This is a senior-level opportunity for a structured, analytical thinker who can drive risk maturity, strengthen governance and protect long-term business stability across diverse operations.

Responsibilities:

Drive and enhance Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) processes across the division

Facilitate and coordinate divisional and functional risk assessment workshops

Develop and maintain comprehensive risk profiles across local and international operations

Conduct deep-dive analyses into business-critical risk areas

Design and implement mitigation strategies aligned to defined risk appetite and tolerance

Embed and monitor business continuity management practices

Ensure the risk framework is operating effectively and consistently

Prepare detailed risk reports for executive and operational forums

Maintain strong relationships with senior leadership, internal teams and external stakeholders

Promote a culture of accountability, governance and proactive risk awareness

Requirements:

Engineering degree (Mining, Agriculture or Chemicals), Agricultural Economics, Finance, Legal or related qualification

Honours, Master’s degree or recognised Risk Management qualification advantageous

6–8 years’ experience in Enterprise Risk Management within Mining, Agriculture, Chemicals, Supply Chain or Manufacturing

Strong understanding of COSO, ISO and King IV corporate governance principles

Proven experience operating within complex organisational environments

Strong analytical and structured thinking ability

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Demonstrated leadership capability and cross-functional influence
