Our client, a respected medium-sized Sandton law firm, is seeking a Junior Associate to join their dynamic Mergers & Acquisitions team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on high-value corporate transactions and develop your expertise in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist senior attorneys in M&A transactions, corporate restructures and commercial matters.

Conduct legal research, prepare due diligence reports, and draft commercial agreements and transactional documents.

Attend client consultations and negotiations, providing proactive legal support.

Contribute to business development and strengthen client relationships.

Stay abreast of corporate law, company regulations, and evolving market trends.

Requirements

LLB degree and Admitted Attorney in South Africa.

2-3 years’ post-articles experience in Corporate Commercial and/or M&A law at a reputable firm.

Strong drafting, analytical and negotiation skills.

Confident communicator, team player and detail-oriented professional.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research platforms.
