We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP AR Lead Consultant to manage and optimize the Accounts Receivable processes within our SAP landscape. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial transactions, customer account management, and integration with banking platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep SAP FI‑AR expertise, leadership capabilities, and a strong understanding of banking operations and compliance requirements.

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP AR solutions tailored to banking operations.
• Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable SAP AR solutions.
• Manage customer master data, incoming payments, dunning processes, and reconciliation activities.
• Integrate SAP AR with external banking systems (e.g., SWIFT, payment gateways, treasury platforms).
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal audit controls.
• Provide leadership and guidance to SAP AR consultants and support teams.
• Oversee testing, training, and change management activities.
• Support post‑implementation stabilization and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
• 10+ years of SAP FI experience, focusing on Accounts Receivable.
• Proven experience in SAP AR implementations in the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of customer account management, payment processing, and financial reporting.

• SAP FI or S/4
  
  HANA Finance Certification.
• Experience with SAP FSCM (Collections, Dispute Management, Credit Management).
• Familiarity with South African banking regulations and financial compliance standards.
• Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage project timelines.
• Strong knowledge of financial processes, regulatory reporting, and banking integrations.
