Junior Credit Analyst

Qualifications

• Ideally Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics or related field
• Minimum 3 years experience as a credit analyst in retail/banking environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently

• Analyse credit data to assess the creditworthiness of borrowers
• Conduct credit reviews and credit approvals
• Remain objective and present both arguments and pros and cons
• Manage customer databases and lending limits
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management
• Develop and implement credit risk strategies and policies
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with credit risk policies and procedures
• Suggest risk mitigating measures for our consumer finance products in line with the risk philosophy of the Company
• Project management i.e. track progress, manage expectations and ensure stakeholders requirements are delivered
