Group Tax Manager - Europe Region (Multinational Environment)

We are seeking a strategic and hands‑on Group Tax Manager to oversee all tax operations and compliance across our Europe region. This is a senior leadership role for an expert with a minimum of 10 years' experience managing diverse tax types in a multinational organisation. You will ensure regional compliance, manage tax risk, and drive process improvements while leading and mentoring a dedicated team.

You are a seasoned tax professional with deep technical tax knowledge and at least 5 years in a senior managerial role. You have extensive experience managing multiple jurisdictions across Europe, with expertise in Corporate Income Tax, Indirect Tax (VAT/GST), Transfer Pricing, and Withholding Tax. You are a critical thinker, a collaborative leader, and adept at communicating complex tax matters to senior executives.

• Ensure regional compliance and reporting for all tax types (CIT, VAT/GST, Transfer Pricing, WHT).
• Manage tax authority relationships and audits across Europe.
• Lead tax technology projects
• Review tax provisions, calculations, financial statements, and tax returns.
• Develop and mentor a team of tax specialists, driving performance and development.
• Assess and mitigate tax risks, providing strategic solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Stay abreast of tax law changes and model their impact on the business.

• BCom Honours (Taxation) or equivalent. Masters in Tax preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in tax, with 5+ years in a senior managerial role in a multinational setting, managing a multi-jurisdictional region (Europe).
• Expert knowledge of Corporate Tax, International Tax, VAT, and Transfer Pricing. Strong leadership, mentorship, and communication skills. Ability to work cross‑functionally with senior stakeholders.
