Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
3 to 5 years of UH-60 maintenance experience (heavy maintenance, inspections, modifications, or avionics/electrical troubleshooting)
A&P license preferred
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, and aircraft maintenance documentation
Experience using maintenance tracking software such as Corridor (or similar systems) for task signoff, work order tracking, and documentation
Strong troubleshooting capability with a focus on safe, compliant maintenance practices
Ability to work effectively in a production environment with quality inspections, hold points, and documentation requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior UH-60 depot or heavy maintenance experience
Avionics integration and mission equipment installation experience
Experience supporting acceptance testing, functional check processes, or test readiness activities
Familiarity with mission kit integration for external load, utility, and firefighting operation
Timberline Helicopters is hiring experienced UH-60 Technicians and Electricians to support our UH-60 Development Program, including civilian conversion and heavy maintenance. This role supports aircraft from induction and inspection through de-modification, repair, modification, test readiness, and customer acceptance and delivery. Work is performed to FAA regulations, approved technical data, and company quality standards.
What You’ll Do- Perform heavy scheduled inspections including Phase and PMI events and depot-level maintenance on UH-60 aircraft
- Execute de-modification of military systems and mission equipment to establish a clean, supportable baseline configuration
- Remove and reconfigure military wiring, provisions, mounts, and associated components as required by the approved scope of work
- Install, modify, test, and troubleshoot UH-60 electrical and avionics systems
- Incorporate STCs, technical bulletins, engineering changes, and approved data packages
- Complete structural and system modifications supporting utility, firefighting, and external load operations
- Document inspection findings and support the Over and Above process with clear location-based write-ups and supporting details
- Support modification and reassembly including system closeouts, zone inspections, and quality hold points
- Perform functional checks and ground runs and support Maintenance Operational Checks and Maintenance Test Flight readiness
- Collaborate daily with engineering, quality control, planning, and production teams to maintain schedule performance and operational excellence
