Daher–Kodiak is seeking an experienced
** Manager – Planning & Scheduling
** to lead our Planning, Scheduling, and Production Control teams in support of our aircraft manufacturing operations. This critical leadership role ensures accurate production schedules, optimized material availability, and smooth workflow throughout the factory—driving on‑time delivery, operational efficiency, and alignment with our mission and production goals.##
** Key Responsibilities**###
** Leadership & Team Development
*** Supervise the Planning, Scheduling, and Production Control teams.
* Provide coaching, training, mentorship, and ongoing performance feedback.
* Delegate effectively, set priorities, and ensure accountability across the department.
* Support staff development in ERP usage, technical processes, and workflow management.###
** Production Planning & Scheduling
*** Own and maintain the Master Production Schedule for aircraft manufacturing.
* Develop short‑ and long‑term schedules to meet delivery and production targets.
* Analyze constraints, capacity, and resource needs to optimize workflow.
* Coordinate with Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality to resolve issues and remove bottlenecks.###
** Material Availability & Inventory Control
*** Ensure materials, assemblies, and parts are available at the right time and in the correct configuration.
* Partner with Supply Chain to reduce shortages, improve fill rates, and support TAKT time improvements.
* Identify obsolete or excess inventory and recommend disposition strategies.###
** ERP/MRP & Data Discipline
*** Implement planning standards and reinforce strict data accuracy across ERP/MRP systems.
* Manage order revisions, engineering changes, and updates to work authorizations.
* Oversee configuration control for aircraft production documentation and planning workflows.###
** Continuous Improvement & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
*** Drive improvements in workflow, scheduling effectiveness, and planning discipline.
* Lead and participate in meetings on sales forecasts, NPI, engineering changes, and materials readiness.
* Communicate schedule impacts, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership and stakeholders.
* Publish and maintain production documents, scheduling updates, and readiness reports.###
** Performance Tracking
*** Develop and monitor KPIs related to:  + Schedule adherence  + Parts availability  + Production readiness  + Planning accuracy
* Use data‑driven insights to improve planning processes and team performance.##
** Supervisory Responsibilities
*** Directly lead Planning, Scheduling, and Production Control staff.
* Responsible for hiring, training, performance reviews, and daily activity management.
* Promote team accountability, communication, discipline, and alignment with company goals.##
** Required Qualifications
*** Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* ** 5+ years
** of experience in production planning, scheduling, or materials management in complex manufacturing (aerospace preferred).
* ** 3+ years
** leading Planning, Scheduling, or Purchasing teams in a systems‑driven production environment.
* Strong ERP/MRP expertise (master scheduling, planning parameters, BOM/routing integrity).
* Proven ability to drive change using system‑based, data‑driven approaches.
* Excellent communication, cross‑functional collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.##
