Job Description & How to Apply Below

Kochava provides a unified platform with solutions for advertisers and publishers across the omni-channel advertising ecosystem to link media investments to outcomes.

Kochava is an industry leader in the advertising ecosystem, providing tools and technologies for leading brands, agencies, and premium publishers for measurement and attribution, media mix modeling (MMM), and search ads optimization.

We enable the visibility into and management of trillions of data points, hundreds of millions of users, and billions of dollars in lifetime value (LTV) and paid ad spend. Our suite of solutions are used as a growth stack for leading brands and publishers - empowering them to see and manage their data and unleash the power of their connected audiences.

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join the Kochava Foundry team. The role will involve writing SQL queries, analyzing data, delivering detailed reports, and automating various processes through hybrid Python scripting solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in Python automation, have a strong understanding of working with Google Big Query and AWS Redshift databases, and preferably have exposure to AI technologies.

Additionally, experience with Google Cloud and AWS services for data storage is preferred.

This position is based at our Headquarters in Sandpoint, Idaho. Candidates must live in or be willing to commute to the HQ location.

Job Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries to extract and analyze data from Google Big Query and AWS Redshift databases.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive reports to clients and internal teams to drive data-driven decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
  • Utilize Python for data analysis, transformation tasks, and statistical modeling.
  • Design, develop, and maintain hybrid Python scripts to automate workflows, data processing pipelines, and reporting tasks.
  • Implement and manage automation workflows using Apache Airflow to streamline data processing and report generation.
  • Support the data storage infrastructure on Google Cloud and AWS services.
  • Leverage AI technologies to enhance data analysis and provide insights where applicable.
  • Create visualizations and dashboards as needed to communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity by conducting rigorous testing and validation procedures.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analysis, AI, and engineering.
Qualifications

  • Proven experience in SQL query writing and data analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, particularly for scripting and automation.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain hybrid Python scripts for workflow automation.
  • Hands-on experience with large databases, Google Big Query and AWS Redshift preferred.

  • Preferred experience working with AI technologies and tools.
  • Preferred experience in the AdTech industry.
  • Knowledge of automation frameworks, particularly Apache Airflow, is highly desirable.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Apache Superset, Tableau, or similar) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
What We Offer
  • Opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals.
  • Access to cutting-edge technologies and tools.
  • Professional development and career growth opportunities.
  • Flexible working hours and a supportive work environment.
  • If you are passionate about data analysis and engineering and want to be part of an innovative team at Kochava's Foundry division, we want to hear from you!

Kochava began in 2011 when a team of mobile and gaming professionals saw the need to better understand the feedback loop of user acquisition, engagement, and LTV for mobile applications. Through the process of creating apps for customers from a wide range of industries, we were repeatedly asked if we could shed some light on what media advertising efforts were converting and the effectiveness of their mobile ad spend by partner.

Realizing a solution to these questions wasn’t readily available, we started designing and building a mobile measurement platform that would become Kochava.

Kochava is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a team culture that celebrates diversity and inclusion.
