Must-Have Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
  • 7–10 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience, ideally in aerospace, marine, or related industries
  • Hands‑on final assembly line experience
  • Experience with riveting and complex aircraft assembly processes
  • Proficiency in CAD software (Siemens NX preferred)
  • Experience with PLM systems (Team Center) and ERP systems (Epicor E10 or SAP)
  • Lean / Six Sigma knowledge (Green Belt preferred)
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and improve manufacturing methods, including mBOMs, routings, tooling, layouts, and work instructions
  • Support aircraft structures, avionics installation, machining, and final assembly operations
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives across production
  • Ensure configuration control and incorporate design changes into manufacturing plans
  • Support make/buy decisions and cost analysis
  • Participate in MRB activities and risk mitigation
  • Train production teams on processes, standards, and best practices
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Design, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production teams
