Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Aircraft
Location:
Sandpoint, | $110–120K + Bonus | Relocation Assistance Provided

- Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
- 7–10 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience, ideally in aerospace, marine, or related industries
- Hands‑on final assembly line experience
- Experience with riveting and complex aircraft assembly processes
- Proficiency in CAD software (Siemens NX preferred)
- Experience with PLM systems (Team Center) and ERP systems (Epicor E10 or SAP)
- Lean / Six Sigma knowledge (Green Belt preferred)
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Develop and improve manufacturing methods, including mBOMs, routings, tooling, layouts, and work instructions
- Support aircraft structures, avionics installation, machining, and final assembly operations
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives across production
- Ensure configuration control and incorporate design changes into manufacturing plans
- Support make/buy decisions and cost analysis
- Participate in MRB activities and risk mitigation
- Train production teams on processes, standards, and best practices
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Design, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production teams
- Work in a high‑impact role at a prestigious aircraft manufacturer
