Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Develop and improve manufacturing methods, including mBOMs, routings, procedures, layouts, tooling, and fixtures for aircraft structures, component machining, avionics installation, and final assembly while ensuring compliance with type design requirements.

** Prepare ROI analyses and present recommendations for new equipment, processes, and productivity initiatives.
** What you need to have:
*** Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
* Skilled in mBOM/eBOM reconciliation using PLM systems (Team Center preferred).
* Demonstrated success in Lean manufacturing implementation and production line balancing.
* Solid knowledge of material properties, processing, and systems (electrical, mechanical, fluids, heat transfer).
* Strong understanding of fabrication processes, including machining, welding, composites, and assembly.
* Effective written and verbal communication across all organizational levels and with suppliers.
* Proficient in MS Office Suite.
* Capable of prioritizing and managing multiple projects independently.
* Willing to travel up to 10% for supplier support.

** Information related to the position:
** Compensation for this position starts at a base salary of $110,000, plus eligibility for an annual target bonus. Any prospective offer will take into account the overall experience the successful candidate brings to the role. 10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience within a highly technical environment (aerospace preferred).Proficiency in CAD (Siemens NX preferred).Experienced in creating and maintaining mBOM and routings in ERP (Epicor E10 and/or SAP preferred).Ability to develop detailed work instructions and process documentation for complete manufacturing files.
