Join the team at an engineering‑led manufacturing business in Sandbach, Cheshire seeking a Materials Planner to strengthen their Supply Chain function.

This role pays circa £35,000 depending on your skills and experience – if you are skilled in planning, purchasing and expediting orders, we want to hear from you!

You’ll be based on‑site Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 5.00pm, with 1 hour for lunch. The site is easily commutable from Stoke on Trent, Macclesfield, Crewe, Winsford, Congleton, etc.

This is a hands‑on, detail‑driven role where you’ll sit at the heart of operations – managing supplier relationships, raising purchase orders, monitoring delivery schedules, updating MRP systems, and ensuring materials are available on time and on budget.

• Obtain supplier quotes & lead times
• Raise & manage purchase orders
• Expedite deliveries & resolve supply issues
• Monitor delivery schedules & update MRP system
• Check invoices & manage discrepancies
• Maintain accurate vendor and pricing data
• Provide general supply chain admin support

• Experience in purchasing, material planning, or supply chain admin
• Strong MRP/ERP system experience
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Confident liaising with suppliers and internal teams
• Comfortable working onsite in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
