• Maintains general cleanliness and safety on the floor, in seating areas, restrooms, and back offices.
• Provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members at all times.
• Perform duties in accordance with team and store Standard Operating Procedures.
• Support all teams with cleaning projects and minor repairs/improvements.
• Participate in ordering supplies required for store maintenance.
• Help with cleaning emergencies and maintain the store's landscaping and parking lot.
• Perform continual cleaning of all store departments.
• Arrive to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; work all scheduled shifts and attend required trainings and meetings.
• Immediately report safety hazards and violations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.

• No prior retail experience required.

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• In an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours.
• Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
• Work requires bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.
• Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
• Exposure to temperatures: below 32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators), and above 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Ability to work in a wet and cold environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.

The wage range for this position is $19.00-$25.40 per hour, commensurate with experience. Whole Foods Market offers "Whole Benefits". New entry level Team Members who successfully complete their first 90-days of employment and who remain actively employed in an eligible role, may be eligible for a base rate increase after their 90-day anniversary.
