Job Description Maintenance TechnicianFounded in 1990, Common Interest Management Services is a full-service homeowners' association management (HOA) and is a subsidiary of Associa. We serve over 750 associations in the Bay Area with associations that are single-family homes, condominiums and townhomes ranging in size from 25 units to 1400 units. We have seven local offices in San Ramon, San Mateo, Campbell, Stockton, Modesto, Brentwood and Novato with 220 employees serving our customers.
For thirty-five years, Common Interest has been one of the fastest growing and most successful HOA management companies in Northern California. We are looking for a full time Maintenance Technician to work at various HOA locations through the East Bay Region.

About the role- Schedule and dispatch:
Work with Supervisor to accept and to review work orders, calendar work and to manage work through completion and on schedule - Complete reports on daily tasks
- Attention to detail:
Make sure all hours are accounted for with clear descriptions of work supported by a complete record of receipts - Clean common areas including dog feces per a predetermined schedule
- Light janitorial work
- Productive and effective:
Manage multiple jobs successfully. Begin and complete jobs with a consistently high quality of work - Ability to drive vehicle throughout the East Bay Region
- Invested in `safety first' approach with ongoing training and learning. Follow regulations fully.
- Ability to lift 50 1bs
- Minimum 2+ years experience with carpentry, electrical, painting and general facility repairs
- Strong communication skills with ability to write and to type clear descriptions of work, Accountable to supervisor and dispatch lead.
- Attention to detail for payroll, accounting, billing and receipt tracking
- Computer literate- experience with Outlook, Excel, and ADP
- Customer Service skills:
Friendly approach with an ability to answer questions and to communicate proactively - Language:
Must be able to read and to speak English. Multi-lingual a positive - Driver’s license and clean driving record

High School diploma
Compensation- Job Type: Full-time;
Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm
