Senior Power Platform Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Power Platform Developer to join a Special Projects & Innovation team within Electric Operations.

Although classified internally as a “Senior Business Analyst,” this role is hands-on and development-heavy
, focused on designing, enhancing, and scaling enterprise Power Applications.

You will play a key role in maintaining existing production Power Apps and building new, highly integrated solutions that support inspection programs and operational workflows across Electric T&D organizations.

• Design, build, and enhance Canvas Power Apps end-to-end
• Optimize applications for scalability and performance
• Develop and maintain robust Power Automate flows
• Integrate Power Apps with:
• SQL
• Share Point
• Document repositories
• Dataverse
• Internal enterprise systems
• Implement secure role-based access and data governance
• Participate in onsite stakeholder workshops (approx. 1x/month minimum)
• Partner with SMEs for requirements gathering, testing, and iteration
• Support R&D pilots and innovation initiatives within Electric Operations
• 4+ years of hands-on Power Platform development
• Deep experience with Canvas Power Apps
• Strong experience with Power Automate (complex workflows)
• Experience with Dataverse data modeling
• Experience integrating Power Platform with SQL or Share Point
• Demonstrated ability to own projects end-to-end

• Experience with custom connectors or API integrations
• JSON experience
• Experience integrating Copilot or AI agents
• Utilities industry background (not required)

• Not a traditional documentation-heavy BA role
• Not primarily a Power BI/reporting position
• Not a data science position
