Global Sub‑Solution Advisor CPQ / Subscription Billing SAP Finance & Quote to Cash

Purpose and Objectives
The Global Sub‑Solution Advisor CPQ / Subscription Billing SAP Finance & Quote to Cash supports success through end‑to‑end GTM within the sub‑solution area. The advisor works with the sub‑solution area leader and cross‑functional teams to build a strong customer base, create healthy revenue streams, and engage senior executive customers.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead the go‑to‑market strategy for the sub‑solution area, providing strategic input to transformation programs.
• Collaborate with Partner, Marketing, Digital Hub, Presales, and CSM teams to create a holistic approach to meeting KPI goals, including revenue and pipeline.
• Provide overall strategy and multi‑year business and financial planning across the GTM cycle.
• Contribute to LOB Strategy Documents, Growth Priorities, Market Sentiment Reviews, Board QBRs, marketing documents, and demo scripts.
• Coordinate sales and consumption plays, programs, and campaigns.
• Support the creation and development of Sales Plays with Product Marketing.
• Act as the strategic point of contact for the CFO in the region, providing tailored insights and thought leadership.
• Serve as the go‑to expert on market trends and customer needs, translating insights into actionable strategies.
• Partner with demand management teams to align on strategy and ensure a healthy pipeline.
• Work with local partners on thought‑leadership events and collateral.
• Collaborate with Solex partners within the sub‑solution area on sales strategies.
• Deep understanding of customer requirements across diverse industries.
• Expertise in SAP CPQ solutions, integration with S/4, positioning in different selling motions (CX, S/4, SFDC).
• Support evolving CPQ / Subscription billing strategy for 2026 alongside the Sub‑Solution Area Lead.
• Build market awareness of solutions, including event presentations, partner engagement, market unit enablement, and thought‑leadership activities (blogs, white papers).
• Participate in a global network of sub‑solution area domain experts, sharing knowledge on demand generation and product evolution.
• Work with regional/MU sales organizations, partners, solution management, value engineering, and consulting services to support lighthouse customer success cases.

Work Experience, Skills & Competencies

• Professional experience in large, multinational software/IT organizations with expertise in SAP Finance, CPQ, Subscription Billing, SAP ERP, SAP S/4
  
  HANA, SAP Business Suite & Cloud ERP.
• 10+ years of relevant solutions/LoB experience in presales, consulting, or direct customer engagement, especially solving manufacturing, supply chain, and finance requirements.
• Knowledge of B2B/B2C cloud environments, hosted or managed services, SaaS/PaaS models.
• Recognized as a subject‑matter expert across SAP with a strong network that drives pipeline and revenue growth.
• Strong executive‑level customer facing experience.
• Strong presentation skills.

Education and Qualification

• MBA or equivalent accredited degree (preferred).
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.
• Proficiency in the solution portfolio.
• Executive speaking and presenting at C‑level.

Compensation Range Transparency
Targeted combined range for this position is USD 194,100 – 411,600, inclusive of base salary and variable incentive, dependent on education, skills, experience, scope, location, and performance.
