We are seeking a scientist to join the CVI research team based in California. Our experienced team is built with both clinically trained and research trained members with responsibilities to identify and evaluate novel contact lens and ophthalmic interventions designed to solve unmet needs within the eyecare community.
Responsibilities- Identify and evaluate novel contact lens and ophthalmic interventions to solve unmet needs within the eyecare community.
- Contribute to ideation and invention, as well as rigorous benchtop and clinical testing of ophthalmic devices.
- Develop the next generation of products for Cooper Vision Inc.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with the broader Cooper Vision and Eyecare communities.
- Collaborate closely with remote research partners and cross-functional departments within R&D.
- Conceptualize and evaluate ideas related to optical technologies and vision science.
- Experience in research with the ability to apply scientific methods to real-world optical technology challenges.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with remote partners and cross-functional teams within R&D.
