Commercial Senior Relationship Manager (Emerging Middle Market)

The Emerging Middle Market segmentation targets companies with revenues of 10-50 million USD. The ideal candidate has a strong COI network, established in the marketplace, and a proven track record of sales performance.

Responsibilities
  • Develop new business by contacting prospects and clients and cross‑selling BMO products and services including credit, trust/investment, and cash management.
  • Participate in and provide leadership in community and bank activities to increase brand visibility and new business opportunities.
  • Advise clients on loan products, rates, terms, collateral and cash management solutions.
  • Manage commercial banking relationships, plan for prospective clients, and monitor pipeline.
  • Provide oversight, monitoring, and reporting for assigned business group for regulatory remediation.
  • Analyze financial data to determine client needs for proper product structuring.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with audit, regulatory, and internal control standards.
  • Serve as daily escalation resource to meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Assist team with pre‑sales activities, pitch preparation, client research, and sales support materials.
  • Track implementation requests and monitor performance, addressing any issues.
  • Provide research and data gathering to facilitate solutions for client business needs.
Qualifications
  • Typically 5-7 years of relevant experience and a post‑secondary degree or equivalent.
  • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through education and business experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Influence skills.
  • Data‑driven decision making.
Compensation

Salary: $88,800.00 – $ (salaried). Commission structure may apply. Compensation varies based on location, skills and experience.
