Position
Automotive Technician / Mechanic – This position is the top technician of our mechanic team with a focus on diagnostic, repair, performance enhancements and clean installs. This role will work to keep all projects on schedule to meet customer delivery due dates. Leading by example and sharing automotive knowledge is expected. The ideal candidate would have experience in hot rodding, carbureted or injected, turbo, supercharged or blown engines.
Proficiency in auto electronics is a plus. Familiarity with foreign and domestic and well as late model and vintage technology is expected.
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced automobile technician to join our expanding creative team. The responsibilities include, but not limited to:
· observe safety regulations and practices,
· perform and complete work in a clean manner,
· ensure the shop remains orderly and safe,
· absorb direction to understand and achieve customer requirements,
· perform vehicle diagnostic procedures, repairs and upgrade installations without oversight,
· tune engines and suggest performance upgrades to optimize performance,
· repair vehicles independently while also working well in a team environment and mentoring others,
· possess own tools,
· have a Valid Drivers License.
Educational Background:
· Community College automotive program or High School Diploma
· Trade School Preferred
· ASE Certified desired
