Key Responsibilities- Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Oversee fund accounting and ensure compliance with non‑profit financial standards.
- Handle grant accounting, including tracking, reporting, and ensuring proper allocation of funds.
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes.
- Support audits and ensure adherence to GAAP and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with program managers to provide financial insights and maintain budget integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required).
- 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally within a non‑profit organization.
- Strong knowledge of fund accounting and grant accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Sage Intacct, or similar).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Desire and ability to grow into a leadership role.
- Salary (upon hire): $85,000 - $100,000 annually
- Temp‑to‑Hire Hourly Rate: $40 - $48/hour
