We are currently hiring a Security Officer for our Marin County sites, including a scenic college campus, shopping centers, homeless shelters, bus depots, and commercial buildings. Monday‑Friday shifts include Morning, Swing, and Grave, with weekend availability required.

• Minimum age 18
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current California Guard Card License
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record (required for applicable sites)
• Reliable transportation
• Basic computer and smartphone proficiency
• Fluency in English for reports; additional language skills are a plus
• Strong listening, patience, and compassion, especially with community members experiencing emotional or psychological challenges
• Ability to remain calm in crises, think critically, de‑escalate conflicts, and communicate effectively
• Professional demeanor in accordance with laws, regulations, company policies, and confidentiality standards
• Compliance with company and client policies, openness to performance improvement
• Clear understanding of emergency response procedures and protocols
• At least one year of security, mobile patrol, or event staff experience
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Successful background check and drug screening
• Perform related duties as assigned

• Stand or Walk for Extended Periods: Ability to stand and walk for long shifts, many hours at a time, including uneven outdoor areas.
• Climb Stairs: Regularly climb stairs and navigate multi‑level buildings.
• Lift and Carry: Lift up to 50 pounds to move or secure equipment.
• Physical Endurance: Withstand weather conditions during outdoor patrol (hot, cold, rainy, windy).
• Manual Dexterity: Operate security equipment such as radios, keys, and locks.
• Run or Move Quickly: Sprint short distances if needed to respond to emergencies.
• Physical Stamina: Work long hours while remaining alert and focused.
• Kneeling and Bending: Kneel, crouch, and bend for low‑level checks and emergencies.
• Vision and Hearing: Strong vision and hearing to monitor surroundings, security systems, and alarms.

• Perform regular patrols of assigned areas, including multi‑level buildings and outdoor spaces.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies or incidents, including sprinting if necessary.
• Operate security equipment efficiently using manual dexterity (radios, keys, locks).
• Lift and carry equipment or materials up to 50 pounds.
• Use vision and hearing to monitor surroundings, identify threats, and detect alarms.
• De‑escalate stressful or potentially volatile situations with professionalism and patience.
• Maintain focus and alertness throughout long shifts.
• Assist in evacuations or other emergency responses.
• Keep accurate activity logs and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Uphold a professional and positive demeanor, representing the company and clients with integrity and respect.
• Adhere to legal standards, company policies, and client protocols.
• Maintain grooming and uniform standards consistently.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal skills when interacting with the public, clients, and team members.
