We are currently seeking an outstanding Part-Time Front of House Service Attendant to join our team.
The Front of House Service Attendant is responsible for bar service at the Mortensen’s 115 Roof Top Bar and Café Vin Wine Bar lounge. They may work anywhere on campus where food is prepared. This person will assist in setup, stocking, requisitioning supplies as needed, serving, and replenishing food and beverages. Duties will include cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work stations.
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Dining Room Server:
- Takes orders, provides service, and requests items both graciously and courteously. Answers pertinent questions about drink items.
- Operates a variety of kitchen utensils and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Clears all tableware from tables and the bar after service.
- Cleans all glassware and dishes.
- Stocks, restocks, and rotates supplies.
- Prepares garnishes for bar use. Prepares snack trays.
- Properly stores food items, adhering to temperature requirements and spoilage prevention guidelines.
- Maintains all documents necessary to account for resident and guest charges accurately.
- Accurately completes the daily opening and closing checklist for their prospective duties.
- Assists the supervisor with the inventory of supplies.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
- Experience bartending in a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining experience preferred.
- Experience in working with seniors is preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
