Responsibilities- Clean and sterilize surgical instruments
- Be able to properly use and perform maintenance on autoclave, ultrasonic and all cleaning devices
- Have or be willing to obtain a gas sterilizer certificate
- Properly pack instruments using the correct indicators containers and pouches
- Maintain and care for surgical instruments and equipment
- Maintain a log of surgical instruments and pull lists for different surgical procedures
- Surgical scrub laundry and some general cleaning in surgery areas
- Organizing surgical rooms on a daily basis
- Prepare/clean operating rooms prior to surgery and after surgery
- Familiarity of sterile technique to open instruments during a surgery
- Possibly running bloodwork, assisting with patient care and positioning for x-rays
- Experience as an instrument technician preferred
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community
- Positive outlook and ability to work well in a collaborative environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills are required, and the ability to deliver exceptional client service is expected

$22.00- $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 8:00am - 6:30pm
