We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN – Circulator) for a short-term contract assignment in an outpatient surgical setting. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled perioperative nurse who can function independently across multiple surgical service lines while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.

• Assignment Length: 8-week contract
• Schedule: Weekdays only
• Shift Times: Variable start and stop times
• Holiday Coverage: Not required

• Serve as the circulating nurse for surgical procedures across multiple specialties
• Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment, instruments, and supplies are available and functioning
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with perioperative standards and safety protocols
• Perform accurate patient identification, surgical site verification, and time-outs
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical team members to ensure efficient case flow
• Document perioperative care accurately and timely
• Advocate for patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be current)
• Minimum of 7 years of recent Operating Room circulating experience
• Ability to work independently across multiple surgical specialties

• Perioperative 101 (Peri-Op 101) – required
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) – preferred

• No holiday coverage required
• EMR system details not specified
