Overview
This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections.
Responsibilities- Lead the development of our key messages that communicate what we do, how we are different, and what value we bring to our stakeholders.
- Partner with our team to craft a messaging strategy and a set of key messages to use across media and marketing collateral (website copy, social media posts, infographics, brochures, email templates, etc.).
- Attend a briefing meeting to review core stakeholders and organizational goals; review existing communications and marketing materials we provide.
- Deliver a first draft in the second meeting, participate in feedback rounds, and complete at least one revision.
- Support asynchronous feedback and, in the final meeting, deliver the final, copy edited version.
We see our work as especially important right now. The key messages work will help us reach more of the social impact women leaders who can benefit from our comprehensive leadership coaching and training. Their participation will help them grow confidence as leaders and their reach and impact in their chosen field. If you work with us on this project your impact will be felt around the world.
We ve worked with 2,000+ women leaders in 95 countries. Thank you for considering this opportunity.
We will provide the volunteer with our existing communications and marketing materials plus other relevant background information. Our organization has clearly defined stakeholders and will provide that information to our volunteer partner. We have a designated member of our team available to work with the volunteer on this project. We will also make some of our program participants and volunteers available for interviews.
