We are looking for an organized and motivated paralegal to provide administrative and paralegal support to our real estate, corporate, and trusts and estates departments. We value self-starters and those who take ownership of projects and look for ways to anticipate the needs of team members.

Responsibilities
  • Open new client matters, perform conflict checks, and prepare engagement agreements.
  • Communicate with clients, counsel, and other third parties to schedule meetings and conference calls, and collect information as needed.
  • Proof, prepare, and file various legal documents, including purchase and sale agreements, grant deeds, leases, and stock certificates.
  • Organize and maintain stock ledgers and minute books, closing binders, and other corporate records.
  • Track and calendar trademark registrations.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as copying, scanning, faxing, etc., and organize and maintain physical and electronic files.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience as a transactional paralegal. Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate are preferred.
  • Strong formatting, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with an ability to prioritize tasks, track competing deadlines, and communicate at a high-level with a focus on exceptional client service.
  • Ability to anticipate and solve problems independently and proactively, while also able to work as a part of a team.
  • Flexibility in sharing general office responsibilities with other office staff.
  • Must be proficient and experienced in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat, experience with Docu Sign and Clio are a plus.
  • Must be willing to be physically present in office Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This is not a remote position.
