Paralegal

Description We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team in San Rafael, California. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in plaintiff-side personal injury cases, managing them from initial intake through settlement. This role requires a strong understanding of California personal injury law, insurance negotiations, and pre-litigation processes.

Responsibilities:

- Handle plaintiff-side personal injury cases, overseeing the process from intake to settlement.

- Prepare detailed demand packages and coordinate the retrieval and review of medical records.

- Negotiate with insurance companies to achieve favorable resolutions for clients.

- Resolve liens and ensure compliance with California-specific personal injury procedures.

- Maintain organized case files using case management software.

- Conduct discovery tasks and assist with trial preparation as needed.

- Collaborate with attorneys and other team members to ensure seamless case progression.

- Provide regular updates to clients regarding case status and developments. Requirements - Proven experience managing personal injury cases from intake to settlement.

- In-depth knowledge of California personal injury law and pre-litigation procedures.

- Strong skills in preparing demand packages and reviewing medical records.

- Familiarity with insurance negotiation processes and lien resolution.

- Proficiency in case management software and related tools.

- Experience with civil litigation, discovery, and trial preparation.

- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

- Ability to work on-site in San Rafael, California.
